At Zodiac Katz we strive to keep our cats in a healthy clean environment which also means a clean toilet for them. After trying many different systems of kitty litters we have come to love and depend on the Breeze Kitty Litter XL Box by Purina for our cats. Not only is it large (which we love since we have some pretty large cats ) but we’ve discovered it’s re-usable which makes it cost effective and environmentally friendly 😊.
We posted a couple years ago how to clean and reuse the clay pellets that are sold with the system and NOW we’ve discovered a way to use crystals in the tray below instead of pads! Crystals are also totally reusable! WOW! We now can provide our kitties with a very clean box and litter without having to worry about breaking the bank! And we don’t have to worry about all those pads and pellets filling up our landfills! We love the breeze system for many reasons - first our cats aren’t stepping in wet litter filled with urine … the urine goes to the tray area underneath trapped into the crystals which they never have contact with . No mess ! One of the cleanest systems we’ve come to love not just for us and our floors but for our cats as well! Please before washing crystal’s and pellets outside check with your city bylaws. Some by laws or HOA laws restrict you putting detergents etc into drainage systems. If this is the case look for an environmentally friendly detergent 😊
